Check your money order receipts (or stubs) .Most of them will have official website (for instance western union) where you can track your MO .They will also provide customers with 24 X 7 toll free access number where you can check status.
You can also request photo copy of cashed MO but you will end up paying 12 bucks are more on each MO .Hope that helps...

Here is how the parties in general stand on immigration:
Democrats: They support immigration in general. But their sympathies lie with low-skills, low-wage workers who mostly enter illegally.
Republicans: They oppose immigration in general, ESPECIALLY the illegal variety. However, they overwhelmingly support hi-tech immigration(and hi-tech immigration is mostly legal, I havent met a scientist or a Java programmer working illegally :) ) because of their close relationship to businesses and their pro-business attitude in general.

I guess, this goes mostly on " intent " basis, they probably don't need a law for this. The word "Permanent resident" itself sets forth its meaning - ie. one is intending to permanently reside in a given country. If you apply for more than one, i think they can question the intent and ask us to choose one because one can not " permanently " reside in more than one place.

I do not understand why people spend their energy in coming up with some lame ideas. Just because you suffer does not mean that your fellows have to suffer, what is the point of being a sane individual with that kind of thought process.
There are people who come here on all kinds of visas F1, H1, L1 and like this country and stay back and need a green card for convenience. Students who came here want priority over people who came on H1B. It makes sense from their point of view.
Similarly people on H1B who got stuck in several stages and had to change the company have their own point of view.
How bout having a lame rule saying that GC for people with I.Q of 140 and above?

How bout having a lame rule like if you have a family you will be penalized by putting you at the end of the line for GC?
The list can go endless..

That's nice to hear. Can he guess what would be the likely outcome? If the judge just takes USCIS/DOS to task then it doesn't help us.
1. Will they make the July visa bulletin current again?
2. If not, will they allow everyone to file for EAD and AP?
3. If neither #1 nor #2, will there be any financial reimbursement?

I am ready to take anything positive out of this because I have least hopes pegged on the law suit.

"EB-2 India. This category is expected to remain unchanged or to move very slowly forward (by a week or so) in the short-term. This is mainly caused by the fact that many EB-3 India applicants (there are approximately 60,000 EB-3 India pending cases) are “porting” their priority dates into the EB-2 India category and are thus taking visa numbers.
EB2 India is slowwly becoming EB3 as thousands are porting from EB3 to EB2. Some of them are really worthy of EB2 and some of them are fradulent.
EB2 India applicants should wake up from their celebratio of a few months leap and get ready for slow movement or retro.
Guys wake up and fight to make the porting rules veryu strong if not stop porting. The rule should be if I140 for porting is denied then the applicatnt should loose his/her initial EB3 priority date also as he /she has indicated that he/she is no longer working in the position as described in EB3 labor. This will make sure that fradulent applicants cannot port from EB3 to EB2.
P.S: I know I will get thousands of REDs. I do not care... EB2 I guys wake up.. Time is running out.. EB2 I will very quickly become same as EB3I.

I don't mean this to be subjective. Earlier, I hv also seen a few others raise this question on the Advanced Degrees and exemptions.
Master's Degree in the US from an accredited Instituiton plus three years of related Work experience but the employer may have chosen to file under EB3. In my case, my employer does not acknowledge the Advanced Degree indicating that the position for which the labor was granted for did not warrant a Master's Degree.
What are my options for availing the SKIL or STEM/PACE provisions? I seem to meet all clauses to be deemed portable. Can I port to a different employer who may be able to further the process through these provisions, as and when they come into effect and continue being on EB3, but being exempt from the limit? Does this shake the grounds of the labor approval (for EB3 and the position not mandating an Advanced Degree)? Am I stuck? I have even considered changing my category to EB2 and being able to avail the priority date...
